How do I know if a part is active?

KEMET.com can be used to determine the status of parts.

Unless otherwise specified, it is safe to assume that a part is still active and in production. The inventory numbers specify the number of parts available in our distribution channels as reported by Octopart through franchise distributors.

To check whether a KEMET part is active or has been marked as obsolete, please follow the instructions below.

• From any KEMET.com page, scroll to the top of the page.
• Insert your part number into the Search field and click the search icon.

• Your part will be displayed in the search results. If your part is inactive or obsolete, it will say "Obsolete" under the part number.
