There is currently a format war in how to drive some of the higher power areas of vehicles, whether to use a relatively low voltage system at 48V or high voltage systems. There are pros and cons to both, but 48V seems to be leading. This presentation looks at the requirements placed on passive components by 48V systems and the available solutions.
