The real debate around batteries in vehicles are currently more about which type of battery systems become prevalent vs when. Right now, it is similar to a format war between mild hybrids, full hybrids, full battery electric vehicles, and other implementations. Regardless which format wins, battery management systems are critical parts cars. This presentation explores some of those options and what it means for passive components that are critical parts of implementation.
