California Consumer Privacy Act Request Form

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California residents are entitled to make certain requests regarding the personal information that KEMET collects, shares, or uses about them. Please review KEMET’s Privacy Policy  for further information regarding the personal information we collect and why we collect it.  California consumers can use this form to submit CCPA requests regarding their personal information.  KEMET reserves the right to refuse requests, in part or in whole, to the extent permitted by law, if we are unable to verify your identity, or if we cannot verify your authority to act on behalf of another person.

The information you provide in this form will be used for the purpose of responding to your request, including verifying identity, locating personal information related to your request, and keeping records of your request.

For certain requests, we may ask for additional information to verify the identity of the consumer who is the subject of the request, verify the identity of an authorized agent, or to obtain additional information to respond to the request. 

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.  If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

We will respond to most verified consumer requests within forty-five (45) days of receipt. We will contact you if an extension period is required to respond.  If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason for the extension.
