What is the difference in the KEMET standard termination and Tin/Lead termination for theTin/Lead termination ceramic surface mount capacitor product?
Answer :
Besides the final plating finish KEMET’s standard 100% Matte Tin terminations and the Tin/Lead terminations are identical. For both termination options KEMET utilizes a copper or silver frit system that is barrier plated with Nickel. Depending on termination choice the final termination layer is then plated over the nickel barrier layer.
