KEMET NetList Files - Touchstone
These models are Touchstone Impedance files (*.z1p - impedance single-port), and contain a frequency listing of impedance magnitude (ohms) and phase (degrees). Because they contain an extended frequency listing, the individual files are much larger then the NetList (.ckt) files, and the number of compressed files is larger to keep these file sizes small for downloading.
Here is a partial listing contained in one of the files. The data lines are space delimited listings of frequency (Hz), Impedance (Ohms), and Phase (°).
The files are collected in groups by chip size and compressed in Zip files. Because the "z1p" files are considerably larger than NetList files, the scope of the compression files were reduced to single chip sizes to reduce the final size of the compressed "zip" file. The first collection of the ceramic or MLCC part types including C0201, C0402, C0603, C0805, C1206, C1210, C1632, C1812, C1825, C2220, and C2225 ZIP files. Each of these groups include all dielectrics: C0G, X5R, X7R, X8L, X8R, Y5V, and Z5U, where applicable. These 11 files are 3.40 MB in size, collectively, with the largest ("Ceramic C0805 Touchstone Z.") at 750 kB. The KPS series ("J-Type" leadframe with one or two chips) are X7R and contain C1210, C1812, and C2220 sizes. The Mil DSCC CDR0 CDR3 collectio0ns contains DSCC 03028 and 03029, as well as CDR0 and CDR3 series capacitors.

Commercial MnO2 tantalum SMD capacitors include T489 (Low Leakage), T491, T494 (low ESR by test), T495 (low ESR by design), T496 (fused for fail-safe), T497 (high reliability), T498 (+150°C), T499 (+175°C), and T510 (ultra-low ESR using multiple anodes).
The military versions based on MnO2 include T4x9 (military CWR09, CWR19, and CWR29), T492 (military CWR11), and T493 (military COTS).
Tantalum with conductive-polymers (for lower ESR) include the capacitor types T520 (polymer rated to +105°C), T521 (high voltage polymers >16 Vdc), T522 (lower leakage), T525 (rated to +125°C), T528 (facedown for low ESL and higher ripple current), and the T530 (ultra-low ESR using multiple anodes and conductive polymer rated to +125°C).
Most recently added is the surface-mount film capacitors. These are divided by dielectric types: PEN, PET, PPS, and Paper. The PEN are the polyethylene naphthalate with a temperature capability from -55°C to 150°C(125° is standard). These are characterized with dielectric constant of 3.0, minimum thickness of 1.4 um, typical dissipation factor of 0.4%, and a dielectric absorption rating of 1.2%. These include part types with series designations of GMC, GMW, and GPC. The LDE series was also added.
SMD PEN Film:
The PET are the polyester film capacitors with a temperature capability of -55°C to 125°C(100°C is standard). These are characterized with dielectric constant of 3.3, minimum thickness of 0.9 um, typical dissipation factor of 0.5%, and a dielectric absorption rating of 0.5%. These include part types with series designations of MMC for the surface mount capacitor and MDC, MDK, and MDS for the DIL surface mount packages.

The PPS are the polyethylene sulfide with a temperature capability from -55°C to 150°C(125° is standard). These are characterized with dielectric constant of 3.0, minimum thickness of 1.2 um, typical dissipation factor of 0.06%, and a dielectric absorption rating of 0.01%. These include part types with series designations of LDB, SPC, SMC, and SMW.
SMD PPS Film:
The metalized Paper types are limited to the single series: SMP253. These are high-voltage capacitors explicitly designed for class Y2 EMI filtering. The voltage rating for these capacitors is 250 VAC, whereas all other capacitor types have their voltage ratings expressed as VDC.
