Through-Hole Film & Ceramic Y Capacitors

Applications include RFI suppression of the AC line, pulse and high frequency AC, sample and hold, timing, precision filtering, and coupling/decoupling.

These capacitors meet the most stringent environmental requirements, making them suitable for demanding applications in the automotive, telecom, data processing, instrumentation, medical and industrial markets.

Power & AC
Film Capacitors

A wide product range for snubbing, AC filtering, DC link and filtering, motor run and power factor correction. Models are available in plastic boxes, plastic cans and aluminum cans.

KEMET also offers customized DC link capacitors for hybrid & electric vehicles, alternative energy, power generation and industrial applications.

Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Axial, snap-in and screw-terminal types are available. These capacitors offer very long life in applications requiring high ripple currents and temperatures up to 150°C. Other models have rated voltages as high as 550 VDC.

In addition to those products shown in the datasheets, KEMET can optimize the construction to offer application-specific balance between required life, temperature, ripple current, physical size, and cost.

Motor start capacitors are also offered.
