Certain KEMET military products and related technical data are controlled for export purposes under the ITAR. In general, such products and data may not be exported from the United States or disclosed to foreign persons unless licensed by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Further, as KEMET manufactures certain products outside the U.S., customers must disclose prior to contracting whether a product is controlled under the ITAR and mark any technical data (e.g., specifications, blueprints, CAD files) that are subject to the ITAR.
