Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Selection Chart – Snap-In & Solder Pin
KEMET's Snap-In Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are available with a wide variety of life and performance options including series with very long life and high ripple current for demanding alternative energy and industrial applications. They are offered with rated voltages up to 500VDC and temperatures to 125ºC.

In addition to those products shown in the datasheets, KEMET can optimize the construction to offer application-specific balance between required life, temperature, ripple current, physical size, and cost.

10,000µF 50VDC to 100VDC 18Khrs In collaboration with an audio research company, DNM Design, the Slit Foil Capacitor has been produced specifically for audio applications. This is a patented design which eliminates circulating currents in the aluminium foils. This spurious current flow on the capacitor plates is known to occur, but is not apparent in most applications.
ALC40 47µF to 120,000µF 25VDC to 450VDC -40ºC to +105ºC 14Khrs The ALC40 series of snap-in capacitors feature the same high ripple currents and long life characteristics as the ALC10 series but can operate at higher temperatures. They are similarly suited for high reliability and long life applications such as frequency converters, UPS systems and switch mode power supplies, but the extended temperature range allows increased ripple current at lower temperatures.Use with life calculator
