| Greenville, South Carolina (February 24, 2006) - KEMET continues to focus on expanding our T495 low ESR, surge robust tantalum capacitor series with thirteen new low ESR options - three are industry leaders! We have also expanded our Ta surface mount Military COTS line with a customer requested 25 volt part type.
- Thirteen new low ESR T495 part types have been released in a variety of case sizes. They include V cases (7343-20), X cases (7343-43), a C case (6032-28), E cases (7360-38) and five low profile B cases (3528-21). These new releases range from 0.47 to 330mF and 6 to 35 volts! KEMET's low ESR T495 series was designed for applications with high surge current potential such as DC/DC converters and output filtering on power supplies. - KEMET has also introduced a new Military COTS 33mF, 25volt T493D (7343-31) part type. KEMET's Military COTS series offers flexibilty with testing and screeing options to customize your order with Weibull grading, surge current testing, and standard or low ESR levels. - These new releases are available with either tin/lead (Sn/Pb) terminations or RoHS compliant (Pb-free) finishes, and are capable of meeting the 260C peak Pb-free profiles - 3 passes!
