Low Profile 6mohm T520s Now Available
KEMET continues to demonstrate its leadership position in low ESR polymer products. Three new 6mohm T520V (7343-20) part types in addition to twenty three lower ESR offerings in the B (3528-210), C (6032-28), and V (7343-20) case size are now available. - KEMET has once again expanded its lead in single anode technology with another first in polymer chip capacitors. Today Kemet announced the release of three new low profile 6mohm versions of the T520 series. While Kemet has already released the T520D (7343-38) 6mohm case size as an industry first in ESR, this ESR option has now been expanded to the low profile V case size (7343-20) to allow PC notebook designers the opportunity to take advantage of this latest technology. These six releases include capacitance values in the range of 150-330mF and voltage ratings of 2.5 to 6.3 volts. These products are ideal for applications that demand high capacitance retention at high operating frequencies such as high end servers, high speed motherboards and PC notebook computers.
- In addition to these six releases, Kemet has further improved the ESR performance of several of its B, C, and V case sizes resulting in the release of twenty three new ESR values with limits that meet or exceed the competition. Included with the B case releases are ten new part numbers with industry leading ESR values of 25 to 35 mohms. These ten B case releases are available in capacitance values ranging from 68-220mF and voltage ratings of 2.5 to 6.3 volts. The C case releases consist of five new part numbers with ESR values between 15 and 100 mohms with capacitance ranges of 150 to 220 mF and voltage ratings of 4 to 6.3 volts. In addition, Kemet has also expanding it T520V case ESR offering to include seven new ESR values that can be directly cross referenced to competitors higher ESR products. This T520V expansion includes ESR offerings between 12 and 40 mohms with capacitance values of 150-470mF and voltage ratings of 2.5 to 6.3 volts.
