Greenville, South Carolina (September 30, 2005) - KEMET continues our trend of industry leading new releases in our Conductive Polymer - T520 series. Five new 7mOhm T520D cases are now available, along with a 10mOhm, 330 microfarad (uF), 10 Volt T520X case!
KEMET now offers five new 7mOhm T520 case part types adding to our ultra low ESR portfolio. This ESR is now available in a D case (7343-31) with capacitance in the range of 100-200uF and voltages from 2.5 to 6 volts . Once again KEMET takes the lead with some of the lowest ESR / highest CV combinations in the market! High end servers, high speed motherboards and notebook computers are examples of applications that demand high capacitance retention at high operating frequencies. The ultra low ESR of these parts facilitates that, along with quicker response times to make these components an ideal solution.
Also now available is a 10 mOhm ESR version of KEMET's T520X337M010A* part type. This 7343-43 case size with high capacitance (330uF) at 10V is the lowest ESR available in this CV in a single anode solution! This single 330uF, low ESR part can be used to replace multiple capacitors in a design and translate into significant cost savings!
All of these new releases are available with either Sn/Pb (tin/lead) terminations or RoHS compliant (Pb-free) finishes and are capable of meeting 3x reflow at the higher temperature (260C peak) Pb-free profiles!
