Greenville, South Carolina (October 4, 2005) – KEMET Corporation (NYSE: KEM) today announced the expansion of its High Capacitance MLCC ceramic portfolio with the introduction of the 22 microfarads capacitance value in the 0805 EIA case size and the 100 microfarads capacitance value in the 1210 EIA case size at a rated voltage of 6.3V. These components are designed for decoupling and filtering for high density power supply applications.
Newest capacitance values are available in the X5R dielectric and M (+/-20%) tolerance. All parts are environmentally friendly, in compliance with RoHS legislation.
