Greenville, South Carolina (January 31, 2006) - KEMET continues to expand our T495 low ESR, surge robust tantalum capacitor series with fourteen new low ESR options! We have also expanded our Ta surface mount Military COTS line with a new industry leading high voltage part type.
- Fourteen new low ESR T495 part types have been released and represent three different profiles in a 7343 footprint. They include a V case (7343-20), four D cases (7343-31) and nine X cases (7343-43). These new releases range from 4.7 to 470mF and 2.5 to 50 volts! KEMET's low ESR T495 series is ideal for output filtering in switch-mode power supplies and DC-to-DC converters. This series is also a good choice for battery-to-ground input filter applications.
- KEMET has also introduced a new Military COTS 10mF, 50volt T493X (7343-43) part type. This high voltage part type can be customized to meet your specific needs by adding available options such as Weibull grading, surge current testing, and standard or low ESR levels.
