| Greenville, South Carolina (December 19, 2005) - KEMET continues to lead the low ESR race with our latest 7mOhm T520 (Conductive Polymer/Low ESR) releases. In addition, we now offer an industry leading low ESR, high capacitance, high voltage T530X part type! Four new 45 mOhm T520C (6032-28) part types are also now available. - KEMET recognizes the need for low ESR in high speed microprocessor applications and announces six new 7mOhm T520 part types. These V(7343-19) and D(7343-31) case sizes are available from 220 to 470uF in 2.5 to 6 volts! Many of these low ESR offerings are unmatched in the industry in a single anode solution!
- KEMET has also set a benchmark by offering a new high voltage (16v), high capacitance (150uF), T530X case (7343-43). This CV is available with an ESR of 40, 25 or 15mOhms. Since the lower derating guidelines apply for our conductive polymer product, this part type can be used in applications up to 12.8 volts. With a ripple current capability of 4.2Arms for the 15mOhm version, this part type is a good fit for power supplies and high speed server applications.
- Also now available are four new 45mOhm T520C part types. This 6032 footprint offers an option for downsizing from the common 7343 footprint - critical where space is restricted! Now available are capacitance values from 68 to 220 uF in voltages of 2.5 to 10volts - all at 45mOhms.

- All of these new releases are available with either Sn/Pb (tin/lead) terminations or RoHS compliant (Pb-free) finishes and are capable of meeting 3x reflow at the higher temperature (260C peak) Pb-free profiles!
