Four new low profile T520U part types are now available in addition to six T520B and T520D part types with further reduced ESR values. Read on for more details on part type offerings and application targets! KEMET has expanded its low profile KO Cap product line with four new T520U (6032-15) part types. These low profile releases offer capacitance values ranging from 100mF to 220mF with voltage ratings from 2.5 to 6.3V. Three of these 6032-15 releases meet or exceed the highest CV offerings currently available in the industry. These low profile parts are suitable for mobile phones, PDA's, digital still cameras (DSC's), notebooks, and other portable consumer electronic devices. These devices do not exhibit the piezoelectric effect which is the source of common "noise" problems associated with ceramic capacitors, making them ideal solutions for audio circuits. KEMET continues to lead in ESR with six new ESR values in the B (3528-20) and D (7343-31) case sizes. Two T520B (3528-20) part types are now available at only 25 milliohms ESR! These part types are available in capacitance values ranging from 150mF to 220mF with voltage ranges of 2.5 to 4 volts. Four new T520D (7343-31) part types have also been added to the KO Cap Product line. These releases offer ESR values of 15 milliohms for capacitance ranges from 470 to 1000mF, in the 2.5 to 6.3 volt range and an industry leading 9 milliohm 330mF value with a 6.3 voltage rating! All of these new releases are capable of meeting 3x reflow at the higher temperature (260C peak) Pb-free profiles!
