Greenville, South Carolina (January 31, 2006) - KEMET expands our conductive polymer product line with new leading edge part types in our T520 (Conductive Polymer/Low ESR), T525(High Temperature Conductive Polymer) and T530 (Ultra Low ESR/High CV) series. These new offerings include low profile / small case size part types ideal for space restricted applications!
- We have expanded our lead in conductive polymer A (3216-18) and T (3528-12) case sizes. The new part types detailed at the link below offer the lowest ESR currently available in a small case size. They range from 10 to 33 mF and 8 to 10 Volts These small case size parts are a good solution for mobile phones, PDA's, digital still cameras (DSC's), and other consumer electronic devices where space is limited. They have also been proven effective at solving common "noise" problems when used to replace existing ceramic capacitors.
- KEMET is positioned to quickly respond to customer requests with our Innovation Center team. If you cannot find a specific conductive polymer to meet your application requirements in our catalogue, contact your local KEMET Sales representative. We will quickly assess your needs and work towards finding a solution. This month we have added the following new part type as the result of a customer specific request:
10mOhm T530D (7343-31) case: 150mF at 10 volts
- We also now offer two new T525T part types not available from the competition!. These 125C rated Ta polymer devices offer flexibility where space is restricted and higher temperature capability is needed. These new T case (3528-12) part types are available with 33mF at 8 or 10 volts.
- All of these new releases are available with either Sn/Pb (tin/lead) terminations or RoHS compliant (Pb-free) finishes and are capable of meeting 3x reflow at the higher temperature (260C peak) Pb-free profiles!
