| Greenville, South Carolina (March 28, 2006) - KEMET has expanded our T495 low ESR, surge robust tantalum capacitor line with nine new low ESR options, and introduced three new high voltage/low ESR T510 series part types - including an industry leading 10 microfarad, 50 volt part type! In addition, KEMET now offers a new 20 volt, high CV T491X case.
- KEMET continues to expand our portfolio of industry leading ESR T495 series offerings. Nine new surge robust part types are now available in D(7343-31) X (7343-43) and E(7360-38) case sizes. These new releases range from 47 to 1000 microfarads and 2.5 to 20 volts. Low ESR levels are offered from 30 to 70 milliOhms! Three of the CV/ESR combinations are industry leaders and offer unparalleled ripple current capability in that CV! KEMET's T495 series was designed for applications with high surge current potential such as DC/DC converters and output filtering on power supplies.
- KEMET has also introduced three new T510, low ESR devices. They include a 220 microfarad, X case (7343-43) with an ESR of 40mOhms and two 10 microfarad X cases with ESR levels at 120 and 90milliOhms - an industry leader! These high voltage, low ESR part types are ideal for high voltage power supplies and high speed server applications. They are rigorously screened with 100% accelerated steady-state aging and 100% surge current testing for maximum performance.
- KEMET now offers two new 150 microfarad, 20 volt X case (7343-43) part types in our T491 (Industrial Grade) and our T494 (Low ESR, Industrial Grade) series.
