KEMET Announces the Release of its 12.5 and 16V A700 Series Aluminum Organic Part Offerings
KEMET continues to respond to customer needs with the release of more high voltage surface mount polymer products. This month, Kemet announces the release of its 12.5 and 16V A700 Series(aluminum organic) part offerings. Read on for more details on part type offerings and application targets!
- KEMET has released five new A700 aluminum organic solid electrolytic chip capacitors with voltage ratings of 12.5V and 16V. Constructed in the 7343-20 (V Case Size) low profile surface mount chip design, these 2.0mm maximum case height offerings are suitable for applications such as notebook pc's, flat panel displays, and other applications with restrictions on component height. With the release these higher voltage offerings, the A700 is also now suitable for 12 and 15V power input rails as well as 14V protected circuits in automotive applications. Available in capacitance values of 6.8mF to 22mF and ESR values from 30 to 70 milliohms with no voltage derating requirements up to 125o C, these releases offer the lowest ESR available in this configuration for applications from 10V to 16V.
