Greenville, South Carolina (September 30, 2005) - KEMET has expanded our T495 low ESR, surge robust tantalum capacitor line with eleven new low ESR options, and introduced two new high voltage/low ESR T510 series part types!
KEMET continues to expand our portfolio of industry leading ESR T495 series offerings. Eleven new surge robust part types are now available in C(6032-28) and B(3528-21) case sizes. These new releases range from 0.47 to 330uF and 4 to 35volts. ESR levels are offered from 0.30 to 1.5 Ohms. Four of the CV/ESR combinations are industry benchmarks! KEMET's T495 series was designed for applications with high surge current potential such as DC/DC converters and output filtering on power supplies. KEMET has also introduced two new 35volt T510, low ESR devices. They include a 22uF, X case (7343-43) with an ESR of 80mOhms and a 47uF, E case (7260-38) with an ESR of only 50mOhms!. These new releases are available with either tin/lead (Sn/Pb) terminations or RoHS compliant (Pb-free) finishes, and are capable of meeting the higher temperature (260C peak) Pb-free profiles - 3 passes!
