| Greenville, South Carolina (April 28, 2006) - KEMET continues to expand our portfolio of Conductive Polymer, low ESR part types. Three small case size part types are now available with industry leading ESR values. Read on for more details on part type offerings and application targets!
- KEMET now offers three new small case size low ESR market leaders! Two T520B (3528-20) part types are now available at only 35milliohms ESR! These part types are available at 47mF with a rated voltage of either 8 or 10 volts. We also now offer a low profile 47mF T520T case (3528-12) at 6 volts. These small case size parts are suitable for mobile phones, PDA's, digital still cameras (DSC's), and other portable consumer electronic devices. These devices do not exhibit the piezoelectric effect which is the source of common "noise" problems associated with ceramics capacitors, making them ideal solutions for audio circuits.
- KEMET is positioned to quickly respond to customer requests with our Innovation Center team. We will quickly assess your needs and work towards finding a solution. This month we have added seven new part types to our portfolio (both T520 and T530:Ultra low ESR) as the result of specific customer requests. The part types are detailed at the link below and range from 68 to 680mF and 2.5 to 10 volts in both V (7343-19) and D (7343-31) case sizes.
