| KEMET Announces Date for the 4th Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call
Greenville, South Carolina (April 13, 2007) - KEMET Corporation (NYSE:KEM) will release earnings for the quarter and fiscal year ending March 31, 2007, after 8:00 am ET on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, and will hold a conference call at 9:00 am ET on that date to discuss the earnings release.
