Surface Mount MLCC Capacitance Values Extended In X7R Dielectric / EIA 1210 & 1812 Case Sizes (Commercial and Automotive- Grade)
Capacitance values have been extended in KEMET’s surface mount Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor portfolio in X7R dielectric. Capacitance has been extended in EIA 1210 and 1812 case sizes to 4.7 microfarads in a 50 volt design and 10 Microfarads in a 25 volt design with tolerances of K (±10%) and M (±20%). These components meet the requirements of the Automotive Electronics Council's AEC-Q200-Rev. C and are available in both Commercial and Automotive grades. In compliance with RoHS Legislation, these devices are offered with 100% Matte Tin (Sn) plated terminations for excellent solderability. Tin/Lead termination is also available for high reliability and military applications.
Widely used throughout the electronic industry including automotive, power supply and general electronic applications where higher operating temperatures are required; these devices are used in decoupling, by-pass, filtering and transient voltage suppression applications
The operating temperature range of an X7R capacitor is between -55°C and +125°C, with zero bias capacitance shift limited to ±15% over that range.
All parts are environmentally friendly, in compliance with RoHS legislation and are capable of Pb-free reflow profiles.
