Greenville, South Carolina (October 28, 2005) - KEMET continues to forge ahead with new cutting edge part types in our T520 (Conductive Polymer/Low ESR) and T530 (Ultra Low ESR/High CV) series. Three new T520 part types are now available, along with a 6mOhm ESR T530D case and three industry leading 5mOhm T530Y cases!
T530 (Ultra Low ESR/High CV) Series
KEMET has broadened our portfolio of high capacitance, ultra low ESR T530 part types. Once again, we set the benchmark by offering a combination of the highest cap/voltage and lowest ESR in the market! Now available are three 5mOhm T530Y cases: 1000uF at 2.5 volts; 680uF at 4 volts; and 470uF at 6volts. In addition, we have introduced a 6mOhm T530D case: 330uF at 6 volts. These products offer a wider array of choices for high speed / high frequency applications and provide unmatched ripple current capability in a conductive polymer solution.

Also now available are three new T520 part types suitable for high speed server, notebook computer and mother board applications (and more!):
30mOhm T520D (7343-31) case: 1000uF at 2.5 volts
25mOhm T520V (7343-19) case: 68uF at 10 volts
40mOhm T520W (7343-15) case: 68uF at 10 volts (not available from the competition!)

All of these new releases are available with either Sn/Pb (tin/lead) terminations or RoHS compliant (Pb-free) finishes and are capable of meeting 3x reflow at the higher temperature (260C peak) Pb-free profiles!
