More Industry Leading CV and ESR offering in the T520C and T530X Series
KEMET continues to demonstrate its leadership position in low ESR polymer products. Six new T520C (6032-28) part types in addition to two new T530X (7343-43) values are now available in industry leading ESR and capacitance/voltage offerings. KEMET has once again expanded its lead in polymer tantalum technology with the addition of six new C case size (6032-28) offerings. Available in capacitance values from 220uF to 470uF and maximum ESR ratings from 25 to 45 milliohms, these six releases represent the higher capacitance offering available in the C case package with ESR ratings that are as low as half that of the competition. These products have been requests by power supply designers who need to incorporate high capacitance components into circuit designs using smaller footprints than those of the traditionally used D, V, & X case (7343) foot print.
In addition, Kemet has continued to meet customer demands for higher capacitance offerings in the ultra low ESR T530 Series product line. This month, Kemet announces the release of the T530X687M006AT E010 and E018 part type. With a capacitance value of 680uF and a voltage rating of 6.3V, this release represented the higher capacitance offering available in a 6.3V design. This release is available in both a 10 and 18 milliohm ESR option which provides design engineers with ultra low ESR and allows for maximum capacitance retention at higher frequencies.
All of these new releases are capable of meeting 3x reflows at the higher temperature (260C peak) Pb-free profiles!
