CARTS Europe 2007 was held October 29 - November 1, 2007, in Barcelona, Spain. John Prymak, KEMET's Director, Advanced Applications, presented a technical seminar entitled "Alternative Methods of Defining Dielectric Quality Using Step Surge Stress Testing (SSST) and Scintillation Testing," and Dr. Yuri Freeman, KEMET's Principal Scientist, Tantalum, chaired a conference session on Materials and Processes. Dr. Freeman also received one of two 2006 Outstanding Paper awards for his submission, Effects of Thermal Oxide of Ta on Anodic Oxide of Ta.
